By accessing or using SheetPortal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including workspace owners, team members, and portal viewers.

2. Description of Service

SheetPortal is a Google Sheets add-on that enables users to create secure, shareable client portals from spreadsheet data. The Service includes:

• Creation and management of client portals
• Secure token-based portal access
• File upload and comment features (paid plans)
• Custom branding and domain options (paid plans)
• Analytics and webhook integrations (Business plan)

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account
• All activities that occur under your workspace
• Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
• The content you share through portals
• Managing access to your team members and clients

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware or engage in phishing
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with the Service's operation
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing:

• You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
• Refunds are provided at our discretion
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We access your Google Sheets data only as necessary to provide the Service. Portal data is stored securely in our database systems. You retain ownership of your data and can delete it at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

SheetPortal and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your data and content shared through the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SheetPortal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
